There is no place in New York quite like Untermyer Gardens! With its Indo-Persian architecture, mosaic-tiled canals, and sweeping views of the Hudson, it feels less like Yonkers and more like a hidden palace. For a long time, this location was a "white whale" for me; I once showed up for a shoot only to find the gates closed, resulting in a quick, improvised session in the parking lot!
Returning to Untermyer to capture Naman and Preeti’s surprise proposal was a true full-circle moment and this time, we went far beyond the parking lot!!!

Naman chose the iconic Walled Garden for the big moment, and the symmetry of the architecture provided a regal, timeless frame as he dropped to one knee.
From the quiet reflection of the canals to the dramatic columns overlooking the river, every corner of Untermyer served as a testament to their journey. It was a dream to finally document a love story within these walls, proving that the best views, and the best moments are always worth the wait.
